By using Ledgerproof, you agree to these terms.
There is a free plan, a monthly or yearly plan, and a one-time purchase. Stripe takes the payment. We never see your card number.
You can cancel a subscription any time. You keep access until the end of the time you paid for.
Refunds: Email us within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full.
This is a software tool, not tax advice. We do not file your return or speak for you to the IRS. Have a CPA check anything you file.
Keep your licence key private. Anyone who has it can see your records.
The most we owe you is what you paid us in the last 12 months.
The laws of the State of California, United States apply.

The product

Ledgerproof is record-keeping and tax-estimate software for people paid on a 1099. It is provided by TBG STRATEGIC CONSULTING LLC. By creating an account or using the product you agree to these terms.

Plans and billing

There is a free plan, a subscription billed monthly or yearly, and a one-time purchase. Current prices are on the home page. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Subscriptions. Cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for.
One-time purchase. There is nothing to renew or cancel. Access does not expire.
Refunds. Email us within 14 days of a payment and we will refund it in full.
Price changes. We give 30 days notice by email before a price change affects a subscription you already have.

Not tax, legal or financial advice

Ledgerproof organises records you provide and estimates tax from them using published rules for tax years 2020 through 2026. It is a software tool, not a tax professional. Nothing it shows is tax, legal or financial advice.

We do not prepare or file your tax return.
We do not represent you before the IRS or any state tax agency.
Estimates depend on what you enter and on tax law, which changes. Have a CPA, enrolled agent or tax attorney check anything you file or send to an examiner.
An audit-readiness score describes your records. It does not predict or change the outcome of an examination.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you put into the product.
Keep your licence key private. Anyone holding it can reach your records.
Do not use the product to break the law, to misstate a tax position, or to interfere with other users.

What we owe you

We will make a reasonable effort to keep the product available and your data intact, and to tell you without unreasonable delay if something goes wrong that affects you. We do not promise uninterrupted service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, TBG STRATEGIC CONSULTING LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including tax, interest or penalties assessed on a return. Total liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop at any time. We may end an account that breaches these terms. Before or after an account ends, you can ask for a copy of your data — see the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes are heard in the state or federal courts of San Diego County, California.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
